I am what is known as a born herper.
From my earliest childhood memories
I have been flipping rocks and
climbing trees after what I find to be
the most fascinating group of
organisms; reptiles and amphibians.
While I did take a hiatus from studies
for a short period and dabbled in a
successful hepetoculture business
importing/breeding amphibians and
reptiles from all over the world and
supplying zoos, universities and
private collectors with specimens, this
was never my true goal in life. As I
knew my only true happiness to be
found in the field learning more about
these amazing creatures I sold all of
my stock and turned back to my
studies. Currently I am having the
time of my life laying the foundations
for what I plan to be a long and
fruit-full career in research.
